Biography
Dan has worked in and around healthcare IT for over 15 years. Working across a range of programmes and projects, his experience extends from research & innovation to procurement & service delivery.
As someone who had more cause to use the healthcare system than most, Dan has first-hand knowledge and experience of the challenges that patients of today face, especially as a “digital native”.
Dan also experiments with “quantified self” and has built up an impressive number of data points and continues to strive towards having his own longitudinal care record that he can one day share.
His personal belief is that every individual should have ownership and control of their health data as a basic human right, enabling this to happen through technology and the possibilities that result are what gets him out of bed in the morning.
