Dr Frances Burns

Dr Frances Burns is currently Project Manager for The Administrative Data Research Centre Northern Ireland (ADRC-NI), part of the UK wide Administrative Data Research Network (ADRN). Based in the Centre for Public Health, Queen’s University Belfast, her work in ADRC-NI involves both of Northern Ireland’s Higher Educational Institutions to include Ulster University. Her work in participant engagement, data linkage and consent for research includes development of the Northern Ireland Cohort for the Longitudinal Study of Ageing(NICOLA), Northern Ireland’s largest public health research project. Dr Burns’ PhD addressed the multidimensional outcomes from Northern Ireland health and social care research and the factors which influence them.
