Erwin Rooijakkers

Erwin is a software engineer. He loves to write code. And he is passionate about sustainability and privacy. At Alliander he combines these passions while working on HelloData: a data authorization gateway that supports the energy transition by making sensitive high frequency energy data available to service providers, while keeping the consumer in control of his data.

His current research interest is using blockchain technology to reduce the need for a trusted third party when authorizing and transporting energy data.

Erwin is also a right back and striker in GeuzenMiddenmeer’s Sunday 3rd Team, who just missed the Championship in one of Amsterdam’s lower division Sunday Leagues.
