Timo Ruohomäki

Timo is an electrical engineer with background on software projects. Earlier in his career he was involved with major media asset management projects at large broadcast companies in Finland, UK and Japan. Recently, he has focused on facility -related technologies such as networks for building management systems, security and integrations between HVAC and electrical automation systems.

Currently he is working on Helsinki Urban Platform -related initiatives as part of several Horizon2020 -funded projects at Forum Virium Helsinki. The projects provide an opportunity to introduce MyData on sensor data on a larger scale together with FacilityAPI, an open interface for various data types collected from the buildings.
