If you booked your three-day conference pass on 27 August or later, you are expected to arrange for your own travel. We are on the 18:00 Viking Line service, bookings can be made here.
Upon your arrival to the conference, you will have the chance to drop off your luggage to assigned team members. Please take care of having all necessary items with you, as it will NOT be possible to access your luggage during the day.
As the programme ends on 30 Aug just shortly before the boat travel, we wish to ensure you make it to the ferry. That’s why we will transport your luggage to the port in advance. There will be a guard and an assistant on spot, helping you to receive you pre-tagged luggage upon your arrival to the A-terminal. We ensure taking our best care of your belongings!
Please let us know, if this is not acceptable for you!
You will be given your ticket for the ferry trip along with your conference badge when you arrive at the conference venue.
A light meal, including a salad buffet and a drink, will be provided for conference guests. If you have dietary restrictions, please indicate them when purchasing your conference pass so that we can prepare something suitable for you.
After setting the agenda, an un-conferencing session will take place during the remainder of the trip.
Before the conference, on Tuesday 29 August:
Core organising team travel from Helsinki to Tallinn on the 21:30 Viking Line service from Katajanokka terminal. You are warmly welcome to join us onboard – just book the ferry yourself.
Other popular ferry among the conference participants is the 18:00 Viking Line service from Katajanokka, which will be in Tallinn 19:45. Book your Viking Line Tickets from here. Other possible ferry companies are Eckerö Line, Tallink and Linda Line.
